This exciting development comes after their remarkable journey from a closed network of sex workers providing mutual aid during the COVID-19 pandemic to an officially recognized public organization committed to championing the rights and well-being of sex workers.

The new platform, set to launch on Saturday, September 16th, is built on WordPress.com, and it serves a range of vital purposes:

1. Raising Awareness: Talay’an will use the platform to educate the public about sex work as legitimate employment, challenging stereotypes and advocating for respect.

2. Advocating for Gender and Sexual Identity: The website will also raise awareness about diverse gender and sexual identities, fostering understanding and acceptance.

3. Reporting and Documenting Abuse: Importantly, it will provide a means to report and document instances of abuse against sex workers, creating a safer environment.
